Guide for external software platforms
You build software for businesses (an e-commerce platform, a booking system, a delivery app) and want your customers' TechTur POS businesses connected.
- Understand the product — Integration overview.
- Create a developer account — register at
/register. No POS business is needed to build. - Register your application — Developer console, Sandbox first.
- Read the connector documentation — Connector specification, write your manifest.
- Request permissions — choose the minimum scopes. You cannot request
platform:*scopes; those are for TechTur platforms. - Configure authentication — authorization code + PKCE; register your exact redirect URIs. Each of your customers connects their own POS business from your settings page; store one token pair per business.
- Map business data — your account ↔ the
business_idreturned at token exchange; your records ↔externalIds. - Connect the API — use the SDK or any HTTP client (OpenAPI is language-neutral).
- Configure webhooks — one application endpoint receives events for every connected business (filtered by granted scopes).
- Import / synchronise — initial sync, then incremental.
- Test — run the sandbox checklist.
- Security and compatibility checks — meet the security requirements; upload your manifest.
- Production access — register a Live application with the same configuration. TechTur reviews it (scopes, manifest, sandbox evidence) and approves the scopes.
- Monitor — console API requests and Deliveries; handle
integration.disconnected.
